The Fremont Elks Present – Prescription Drug Drop off day in coordination with the DEA. On October 28, we are going to host the drop off location for any unused or expired prescription drugs at no charge.

As we learned at the Elks National Convention, prescription drugs are actually becoming one of the most popular drugs for people to get their hands on and they are very difficult to dispose of when expired or no longer needed. The DEA has declared

October 28, 2017 as the National Drop Off day for these unwanted or unneeded drugs.

The DEA has partnered with the Elks in this venture and we are working with our local agency to provide this service on October 28.

Drop off time will be between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. that day.

We are very fortunate to have a member at our Lodge that has been able to assist our committee in making this happen. As we get more information, we will be sharing that information, but in the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the Fremont Elks Lodge.
